Inspired in the nineteenth century by the hand made cement tiles full of character and recalling the mastery of the mosaic artisans, who composed their designs one piece at the time. Initially as floors that became pieces of Art, which once upon a time used to be individually stamped, dated and signed. Some of the original mosaics, such as Nolla Valencian ones, still survive in many homes at the Spanish Levante area. Matt surfaces avoiding the light reflection and enhancing the endless mosaic patterns at the same time.
The grooves of the piece may have small visible pores that favor the perfect fixation of the grout material and will be completely hidden once the correct installation is done.
